Passover

What a wonderful evening this was! Such an incredible blessing as well! With 13 of us around our table we recounted the incredible miracle of the Exodus and we remembered our own personal deliverance from a life of slavery to sin through the offering of our Messiah Yeshua. We were so happy to host everyone and they all made the night absolutely incredible. Everyone did their part, bringing something to eat which made for the most wonderful dinner! We had lamb, a beautiful salad topped with edible flowers, barley bake, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables and of course matzah! For dessert we ended the night with a wonderful toffee matzah treat. As our guests arrived they were able to pretend to put the blood on the doorposts and lintel than you to Jordan and Atira for creating this for everyone! We had several people choose to stay the night and when we woke up in the morning the men of the group made breakfast and we all sat around and watched "The Messiah; Prophecy fulfilled". After which we had a wonderful time of bible study before everyone headed home. Atira was the big winner of the evening, she found the "afikomen" and her dad had to redeem it back...she collected a nice little fifty cent piece which she says is something she has always wanted! Everything was wonderful and delicious and we can't wait for next year!

Atira...the engineer

Scott brought home some blueprints for Atira to color with or draw on or whatever creative idea she could come up with for them, this is what she did, she built what she saw in them and created her own mock up building! Se had a blast and we thought you should know about it.

Mr. Toymaker

Our latest field trip...Mr. Toymaker. The kids really enjoyed this guy last year, he brings wonderful simple toys that the kids make pretty much by themselves..well especially Jordan. This year it was little paddle boats, the both did a great job. Atira over accessorized hers so it sank at one end...but she still loved it. Jordan did a great job too and had a bit of a bumper boat race with another one of the students. It was a double blessing because dad got to be there with us this day!
